The Blackview BL9000 Pro 5G is an upgrade to the BL9000 model released earlier, offering a few key improvements for users who prioritize durability and unique features.
Like its predecessor, the BL9000 Pro is built tough. It boasts an IP68/IP69K dust/water resistant rating and MIL-STD-810H compliance, making it resistant to shocks, drops, and extreme temperatures. A large 8800mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging keeps you powered through the day.
The BL9000 Pro retains the BL9000’s 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Where it differs is on the back. The BL9000 Pro swaps the secondary display for a FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal camera, ideal for those who need a tool to detect heat variations, perhaps for search and rescue or finding lost pets in the dark.
Coming to the camera department, the BL9000 Pro sports a triple-camera setup compared to the BL9000’s dual setup. The main sensor remains a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 with optical image stabilization. While a 13MP wide-angle camera with macro capabilities and the aforementioned FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal camera completes the trio setup.
The BL9000 Pro retains the BL9000’s 512GB storage as well as the front-facing 50MP selfie sensor. It is also worth noting that the new comer has a more recent Android 14 OS, instead of the preloaded Android 13 out the predecessor. The Blackview BL9000 Pro 5G is a rugged smartphone with a long-lasting battery just like it predecessor. The table below contains all other specification about the device.
