The Pixel 5a is the smaller variant of the standard Pixel 5, and also the direct successor to the Pixel 4a of last year. In comparison to the standard model, the Pixel 5a does not have wireless charging, no 90Hz refresh screen, and only 6GB RAM is available. But the screen is bigger, and it has bigger battery too. Talking about screen, the device sports a 6.34-inches OLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels and a dot not on the front.
As for internal hardware, you are getting Snapdragon 765G octa-core CPU clocked at 2.4GHz, with Adreno 620 GPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. Like other Google phones, you also get Titan M Security chip for optimized security, and rear fingerprint scanner.
Camera setup on the Pixel 5a is not still different from what we saw on the 4a 5G and the standard Pixel 5; you get a 12.2-megapixel main sensor with OIS and 16-megapixel ultrawide lens on the rear, while a single 8-megapixel selfie lens is housed upfront. You also get 4K video recording at both 30/60fps, while 1080p video can go all the way to 240fps.
The phone is built on Google Android 11 out of the box. There is a rear placed fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers with 3.5mm audio jack. Powering the device is a 4680mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and 5G network is available too. The full specs of Google Pixels 5a is contained in the table below.
