OPPO A16 is the latest entry-level smartphone from OPPO Mobile. The device is the direct successor to the OPPO A15 of January 2021. Some of the notable upgrades in the new model includes MediaTek Helio G35 CPU and a more recent Android OS. As for the display, you are getting a 6.52-inch HD+ screen with a tiny-drop notch overhead, which houses the selfie snapper.
On the inside, there is the aforementioned Mediatek Helio G35 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Storage option includes 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, expandable up to 256GB via SD-card.
Now for the optics, you are getting three lenses on the rear; a 13-megapixel main snapper and a set of two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro shots respectively. A single LED flash is also used on the rear, while 8-megapixel selfie lens seats in the notch upfront.
The device also come with a side mounted fingerprint scanner, FaceID and dual Nano-SIMs with s4G LTE support. Color options includes Trendy Green, Silver Break and Strong Black.
