The Redmi K40 Pro is the higher version of the standard K40. This model comes with three key changes over the standard model; first, it is IP53 rated for dust and splash resistance, secondly the CPU is now Snapdragon 888 and finally, the main camera is pushed to 64-megapixel.
Other specs remains virtually the same, and these includes a 6.67-inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh and up to 1,300 nit peak brightness. In addition to the 2.84GHz octa-core Snapdragon 888 CPU mentioned above, there is 6/8GB RAM with 128/256GB alternated storage.
On the camera department, the K40 Pro has similar camera setup with the None Pro model, except the 48-megapixel sensor is upgraded to a 64-megapixel lens with f/1.9 aperture and 1/1.7″ sensor size. Other camera specs remains same, including the 20-megapixel selfie lens on the front.
Color options remains Black, White and Aurora, and the model also uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Sadly none of the K40 model support SD-card, but you are getting dual Nano-SIMs with 4G/5G SA/NSA support, a 4520mAh 33W fast charging while the latest Android 11 runs out of the box. The table below contains the full specs of Xiaomi’s Redmi K40 Pro.
