Multiple camera lenses are usually found at the back of smartphones, and when an OEM decided to use dual camera sensor at the front of a smartphone, it is usually in the higher-end smartphone series. But this is not the case with the Huawei Y8S, affordable mid-range device, yet with dual front facing camera. From the front, the phones comes with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ display, with Apple iPhone X-like notch overhead.
Specification wise, you are getting the HiSilicon Kirin 710 CPU clocked at 2.2GHz, along with Mali-G51 GPU, 4GB RAM and a 64/128GB internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via SD card.
On the camera department, there are two rear sensors, comprising of a 48MP main sensor pegged with 2MP depth sensor, along with a single LED flash. On the front, there are two selfie sensors of 8 MP main snapper and a 2 MP depth sensing lens.
Security options includes a rear placed fingerprint scanner with AI faceID. The phone boot Google Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box, without GMS. It supports dual SIM with 4G VoLTE network, has Bluetooth 4.2 and a 4000mAh battery out of the box. Other key specifications and silent features of the Honor Y8s are detailed in the table below.
