The Honor 9A is an entry-level device from Huawei launched in Russia. The name should not be confused with the Honor Play 9A. The Honor 9A as this has Mediatek CPU instead of Huawei HiSilicon chip used in the Play 9A version. It comes in 6.3-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, has a 20:9 ratio and a U-shaped notch overhead.
The device packs a triple rear camera setup of 13-megapixel main sensor, 5-megapixel Wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, couple with a single-LED flash. For selfie, there is a single 8-megapixel sensor upfront, featuring faceID and face beautification.
Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 CPU, clocked at 2.0GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, a 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
What’s more? The device also comes with a rear placed fingerprint scanner and AI FaceID, and available in Green, Blue Water and Black colors. There’s dual Nano-SIMs with support for 4G LTE network on both SIMs, a 5000mAh battery, and the Android 10 based on Magic UI 3.1 out of the box.
