The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, as the name suggests, is the higher variants of the Note 9 Pro-series. The major difference between the 9 Pro Max and the Redmi Note 9 Pro, is the presence of a larger 64-megapixel main camera, up to 8GB RAM and a faster 33W fast charging in the Max version. Else, it comes with same 6.67-inch Full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2400 resolution and a tiny punch hole notch above the display.
Powering the Note 9 Pro Max is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor along with Adreno 618 GPU. The has either 6/8GB of RAM pegged with 64/128GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is loaded with a quad-camera setup with a combination of 64-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel macro sensor and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, there is a 32-megapixel in-display selfie shooter.
Xiaomi moved the physical fingerprint scanner to side of the phone. There is a 5020mAh battery on the inside with the aforementioned 33W fast charger via US Type-C interface. The device runs on Android 10 out of the box and available in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, Interstellar Black.
