Alcatel 3L (2020) is the direct successor of the 3L of 2019. The new comer has seen changes all the way from the external design, to the cameras and even the internals of the device. Even the overhead notch have seen a shoft from U-shape to a water-dropping notch cut-out. The rear camera is now triple, instead of the dual sensors used on the predecessor.
Getting into the details, the Alcatel 3L (2020) comes in a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. There is a notable minimal bezels to the top and the two sides of the phone, but the chin below the screen is just a bit thicker than we expected.
On the camera department, the device features a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 48-megapixel main Samsung GM1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens and a dedicated 2-megapixel macro lens.
For selfie, Alcatel decided to bundle a single 8-megapixel front-facing camera, hidden in the frontal overhead notch, just above the screen. Although, there is no LED for selfie, but self images is still possible at night with the help of a soft brightness from the screen.
Under the hood, you are getting an Octa-core MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 CPU, clocked at 2.0 GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, with a dedicated slot for additional storage of up to 256GB using SD card.
The phone is available in Black, Blue, Green and powered by Android 10.0 out of the box. It comes with a rear placed fingerprint scanner, have support for 4G VoLTE network on a dual Nano-SIM and fueled by a 4000mAh battery out of the box.
