The Flare S8 Pro brings few upgrade over the standard S8. For instance, this unit comes with larger 6.5-inch display, and has a more lates Mediatek Helio P22 CPU. The display is an IPS LCD unit with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution, and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device makes use of a Waterdrop notch overhead for the selfie sensor.

Under the hood, there is the aforementioned octa-core Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via SD card.

On the camera department, there is a large 20-megapixel main camera, along with a secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor, featuring f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and a single LED flash. On the front, Cherry Mobile made use of yet another large 20-megapixel front-facing camera hidden in the notch.

The device has a rear placed fingerprint scanner at the back. It also have support for dual Nano-SIMs, with 4G LTE networks on both SIMS. Power is supplied by a 4000mAh battery with support for USB Type-C interface and Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box.
