This is Cubot P50, the immediate successor to the company’s P40 of 2020. What is majorly affected is the CPU, now an 8-core Chipset, instead of the quad-core CPU on the predecessor. But you are still getting the same 6.2-inch screen with 720 x 1520 pixels. The phone has a dewdrop notch above the display, which also serves as the home for the selfie sensor.
On the inside, the Cubot P50 is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 CPU, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The model has 6GB RAM and 128-Gigs of internal storage, expandable up 256GB using an external SD card.
There are three camera lenses on the rear of the P50. These includes a 12-megapixel sensor pegged with 5-Megapixel wide lens, and a third 0.3-megapixel depth sensor, along with a dual LED flash, while a single 20-megapixel selfie sensor seats upfront.
Like the older model, the P50 does not have a fingerprint scanner, but you are getting FaceID and support for dual 4G SIMs. The device is available in Blue, Green and Black colors, and run on the latest Google Android 11 out of the box. The table below contains the full specs of Cubot P50 smartphone.
