The Alcatel 1S (2020) is a mid-range smartphone from Alcatel, launched in January 2020. The device is also the smaller variant of the 3L 2020. However, the major difference between the two lies in the rear camera set-up and of a slightly downgraded CPU. It comes with same 6.22-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution, with a notch overhead, housing the selfie sensor.
On the inside, the device runs on a slightly lower clocked Mediatek MT6762D, Helio P22 SoC at 1.8Ghz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, with a dedicated slot for additional storage of up to 128GB using SD card.
Now coming to the camera department, the Alcatel 1S (2020) has 4-camera sensors in all – three (3) sensors at the back and one (1) upfront. The rear sensor is a combination of 13MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP dedicated macro sensor. The fourth sensor on the other hand seat upfront; a 5MP unit loaded with AI beauty features.
The device measures around 158.7 x 74.6 x 8.45 mm, and weighs about 165 grams. Interestingly, there is the latest Android 10.0 out of the box. It also comes with dual nano SIM and a dedicated micro SD slot. The device have support for 4G VoLTE network, Fingerprint sensor, AI Face Unlock, and fueled by a 4000mAh non-removable battery.
