Gionee K3 is the latest smartphone from Gionee Mobiles, launched in September 2019. It is one among few other smart phones launched recently by the company, including the recently announced M11-series. For the K3, Gionee made use of a 6.2-inch HD+ display, with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. It has a Waterdrop notch overhead, housing the front facing camera sensor.
Specification wise, the Gionee K3 is powered by an 8-core Mediatek MT6763 Helio P23 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with Mali-G71 GPU. The device is available in two storage options of either; 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, or 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, with storage expansion options on both sides.
Coming to the camera department, you are getting a dual rear camera setup, comprising of a 16-megapixel main sensor, featuring PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for AI gymnastics. Also, within the overhead notch, there’s a single 8-megapixel front-facing camera for your selfie need.
The device also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, have support for dual SIM slots, with 4G VoLTE network support on both SIMs. Okay… I think I’ve got mixed feelings on this one; on the exciting side, the K3 is fueled by a large 5000mAh battery, but sadly runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box. Other key specifications and silent features of the Gionee K3 mobile phone are detailed in the table below.
