The HMD Pulse Pro is an upgrade to the standard HMD Pulse, offering a significant improvement in camera capabilities while retaining a similar display and design.
Display: Both phones share a 6.65-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness. The resolution remains at 720 x 1612 pixels.
Performance: The Pulse Pro is powered by the same Unisoc T606 chipset as the standard Pulse, but with RAM options ranging from 4GB to 8GB paired with 128GB of storage (expandable via microSD card).
Cameras: The primary difference between the two models lies in the camera department. The Pulse Pro features a 50MP main sensor on the back, a significant upgrade from the 13MP sensor on the Pulse.
The depth sensor is also improved to 2MP compared to the QVGA sensor on the base model. The front-facing camera takes a leap as well, going from 8MP to a high-resolution 50MP sensor on the Pro model.
Battery & Charging: The Pulse Pro retains the 5000mAh battery capacity of the Pulse, but it boasts faster 20W charging compared to the 10W charging on the standard model.
Other Features: Both phones run Android 14, offer Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. They have a dust and splash resistant design constructed with a plastic frame, a glass front, and a plastic back. The HMD Pulse Pro comes in three color options: Black Ocean, Clacier Creen, and Twilight Purple. The full specification of the Pulse Pro is contained in the table below.
