This is Mobicel R9 Pro, an affordable smartphone for the South African market. It has almost the same display as the Epic Pro LTE already on sale in SA, but with a completely different rear design. It comes in a 6.52-inches screen with 720 x 1600 pixels and a dewdrop notch on the head.

We do not the CPU specs as of writing, but since Mobicel is asking for 2,999 Rand, which is more than twice the 1,399 Rand price tag on the Epic Pro LTE, the CPU option should be better. Note that the EPIC Pro is got 8-core UNISOC SC9863A. The R9 Pro however, is got 4GB RAM along with a larger 128-Gigs of internal storage.

Camera options on the phone include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with an auxiliary Ai depth sensor. Turning to the front, there is a single 8-megapixel selfie sensor held within the notch on the front.

The model comes with a rear-place fingerprint scanner, and it is available in two colors; a combination of Gold and Blue and an Emerald Green color option.
