The Sharp Aquos R6 is the direct successor to the Aquos R5 5G announced back in February of 2020. The device is the first smartphone in the world to sport a 1/1.0 ultra large sensor size on the rear. From the front, the phone sports a 6.6-inches display with 1260 x 2730 QHD+ screen. The screen is slightly curved on either side, and it has a dot-notch on the head with up to 240Hz refresh rating.
On the inside, there is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.84GHz, along with Adreno 660 GPU. The Sharp R6, which is a 5G smartphone has 12GB RAM with 128GB ROM and an expandable storage up to 1TB.
As for the camera department, there are two sensors on the rear; a 20-megapixel main lens with f/1.9 aperture and a 1/1.0″ sensor size, along with a ToF secondary sensor and dual LED flashes, while a single 12-megapixel selfie snapper is housed within the notch up front.
In addition to the above, the Aquos R6 is also water and dust resistance, thanks to it IP68 certification. The model has it fingerprint scanner hidden under the display, and it has NFC with USB C as well. Power is supplied by a 5000mAh battery, while Google Android 11 runs out of the box.
