The Camon 18 is the latest device in the Tecno’s Camon-series, launched in October of 2021. The model is the direct successor to the Camon 17, and it is powered by Helio G88 CPU from MediaTek. The phones comes in a 6.8-inches screen with FHD+ panel, 90Hz refresh and a centralized punched notch on the head.
Turning to the back, you are getting three set of camera lenses; a 48-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture with PDAF, and two other 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro photos respectively, while a single 16-megapixel selfie lens is used on the front.
Under the hood, the Camon 18 is powered by the aforementioned MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging is screwed on the inside. The model is available in Dusk Gray, Ceramic White and Iris purple, and runs on Tecno’s latest HiOS 8.0 on top of Google Android 11.
