The Infinix Note 40 is the successor to the Note 30 of last year. The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals and a 1300 nit peak brightness for clear viewing in most lighting conditions.
The phone is constructed with glass on both the front and back, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass for scratch resistance. It also carries an IP54 rating, indicating some resistance to dust and splashes.
On the software side, the Note 40 runs Android 14 with Infinix’s XOS 14 on top. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand storage further using a microSD card (up to 1TB).
The rear camera system consists of three lenses: a high-resolution 108MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a QVGA AI lens. The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls features a 32MP sensor. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging and 20W wireless MagCharge.
