If our records are right, then the InnJoo Smartron is the first Snapdragon mobile phone from InnJoo. This company has previously partnered mostly with Mediatek and Spreadtrum, both of which are mid-range to low end phone chip makers. But we have no past record of a Snapdragon CPU being used in an InnJoo mobile phone before. Anyway, once in a while, it very good to try something new. Everybody loves something new right?
The InnJoo Smartron is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU. This is an Octa-core 64 bit chip clocked at 2.0 GHz, along with Adreno 430 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB expandable storage. The extra SD card slot can carry up to 256 GB, but at the expense of a second Micro-SIM card.
On the camera department, there’s a single 13 megapixel main camera at the back, with support for 5P lens, F/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and a dual LED flash. Upfront, there’s a larger pixel 4 megapixel sensor for selfie and video chats.
The device features a 5.5 inch Full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. Aside the front glass, which is a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the built of the phone is completely metal, adding premiuty to the overall feels of the device. Innjoo was very meticulous in the craftsmanship of the Smartron. The device measures only 7mm thick and wieghs around 149 grams.
As mentioned before, you are getting a dual Nano-SIM slot, with 4G VoLTE support in both themes. Other popular connectivity options are also in place include Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The device is powered by a 3000mAh battery, and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box.
