The itel A90 4G is the latest smartphone from itel, launched in April 2025. While the phone introduces a newer chipset in the entry-level space, many other features remain familiar, especially when compared to older models like the itel A70 and A80.
The device sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. It runs on Android 14 (Go Edition) with itel’s custom OS 14 interface.
The biggest upgrade on the A90 is the UniSoC Tiger T7100 processor, backed by up to 4GB of physical RAM and an option for extended RAM up to 8GB through dynamic memory, though this remains more of a marketing point than a practical performance jump.
In terms of storage, the A90 offers up to 256GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards up to 256GB. The rear camera setup includes a 13MP main sensor and a QVGA AI lens, while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter with HDR and face unlock.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 15W charging via USB-C, promising all-day usage. Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Despite a strong value proposition, the A90 reuses many features from its predecessors, with only the CPU standing out as truly new. The design remains unchanged, and many of the hardware specs mirror those of earlier models. Color options include Starlit Black, Aurora Blue, Cosmic Green, and Space Titanium.
