There is the standard Mobicel IX, then the IX Pro. But this is the Mobicel IX Plus. All three phones are targeted at the South African market, but the IX Plus has better specifications and, a bigger display, and it is a little more expensive than its two siblings.
Starting from the display, the Mobicel IX Plus comes in a 6.8-inches screen. The panel is a 720 x 1640 pixels, and it has a dewdrop notch on the head as well as a 90Hz refresh. In comparison to the other models, the vanilla IX comes in a 6.4-inches screen, while the IX Pro has a slightly bigger 6.52-inches.
On the camera department, the IX Plus has three lenses on the rear comprising of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with two other auxiliary snappers, while a single 8-megapixel selfie camera is used on the front.
Hardware wise, the IX Plus is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 CPU. It has a dual-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 and hexa-core 1.7GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs, along with Mali-G52 GPU. The RAM is 4GB, paired with another 4GB virtual RAM, making a total of 8GB, while the internal storage is 128GB.
Powering the Mobicel IX Plus is a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charger. The phone has USB Type-C interface, support dual 4G Nano-SIMs (all South African mobile networks are supported), support WiFi, and comes with Bluetooth 5.0. It support NFC and available in Grey and Blue color, while Google Android 13 runs out of the box.
