The Nokia 5.3 is the direct successor of the Nokia 5.1 of 2019. Just for comparison sake, the new comer packs arrays of upgrades over the older variant, starting from a larger display to better camera setups, and even a shift from a Mediatek CPU to a fire breathing Snapdragon processor. From the display, the Nokia 5.3 comes in a 6.55-inch screen, with a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The screen technology is an IPS panel, and there is a waterdrop notch overhead.
Specification wise, you are getting an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz. The CPU is integrated with an Adreno 610 GPU. There is only a 64GB internal storage variant, but users can chose between either 3/4/6 GB of RAM.
On the camera department, the device comes with four camera modules at the back, arranged in a ring form. These includes a 13-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and another 2-megapixel macro lens, while a single 8-megapixel selfies sensor, seat in the notch upfront, capable of AI portrait, face Beautification and FaceID.
There’s a rear-placed fingerprint scanner and support for either single or dual Nano-SIMs with 4G LTE network on both SIMs. The 5.3 is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 10W normal charging via USB Type-C., and runs on the Android 10 out of the box. Other key specifications and silent features of the Nokia 5.3 are detailed in the spec table below.
