The Oppo A31 is the Indian version of the A8 launched in December 2019. So aside from the naming scheme, every other specs and features of the device seems same. It comes in a 6.5-inch IPS HD+ display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, has a 20:9 aspect ratio as well as a water-dropping notch overhead housing the selfie sensor.
Under the hood, there is an Octa-core MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 CPU, clocked at 2.3GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is preloaded, expandable via microSD card. It is the era of Android 10, but not all phone is got a share in the latest OS yet. As such, the Oppo A31 is got Android 9.0 (Pei) out of the box.
On the camera department, the device packs a triple rear camera setup of 12-megapixel main sensor, 2-megapixel macro lense, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor, couple with a single LED flash. Upfront, OPPO made use of a single 8-megapixel sensor to cater for selfie and video chats.
What’s more? The device also comes with a rear placed fingerprint scanner and AI FaceID. There’s dual nano-SIMs with support for 4G LTE network on both SIMs. The A31 is powered by a 4230mAh battery, and available in either Fantasy White and Mystery Black colors.
