Oppo A9 (2020) is the latest smartphone from Oppo mobile under the company’s A-series, launched in September 2019. The device comes with interesting features such an upgraded Snapdragon CPU and the use of quad camera setup at the back. Announced alongside the A5 2020, and comes with a large 6.5-inch screen, with a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The screen technology is an IPS panel, with a Waterdrop notch overhead.

Specification wise, the OPPO A9 comes with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz. The CPU is integrated with an Adreno 610 GPU, along with either 4/8 GB of RAM and a 128GB internal storage. While user can select theircchoice of RAM, Oppo Mobile did not give room for storage options on this device, but you always attach externalfiles sSD card up to 256 GB.

On the camera department, the device comes with a quad camera setup at the back, comprising of a 48-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and another 2-megapixel macro sensor. This unit made use of just 16-megapixel selfies sensor, capable of AI portrait mode, face Beautification and FaceID.

There’s a rear-placed fingerprint scanner, with other connectivity options in place, including Bluetooth 5.0. The device have support for dual Nano-SIMs with 4G LTE network on both SIMs. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, based on color OS v6.1.
