OPPO Reno8 5G is the direct successor to the Reno7 5G of December last year. The new comer has faster CPU, updated camera setup, and a more recent operating system. The screen on the front is still AMOLED, and it has 90Hz refresh with up to 800 nits max brightness.
As far as the internal specs are concerned, the Reno8 is powered by the Dimensity 1300 5G SoC. The Chipset has 8-core CPU, and maxed at 3.0GHz, along with Mali-G77 GPU, 8/12GB RAM mixed between 128/256GB ROM.
As for the optics, the new triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 2MP depth and third 2MP macro shooter, leaving a 32-megapixel selfie lens on the front.
The design is a little modified, especially from the rear view, and the Reno8 is now slightly thinner than the Reno7. But you are getting the same 4500mAh battery on it predecessor, with even faster 80W charger, against the 65W on the global Reno7 5G. The full specs of OPPO Reno8 5G is contained in the table below.
