The Oukitel WP5 is a rugged low-end smartphone, designed mainly for extreme outdoor users. The major selling point of the device is the fact that it comes with MIL-STD-810G and IP68 certified for water, dust and shock resistance. So getting detailed on the specifications, the WP5 comes with a 5.5-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. It does not have notch or pop up selfie design, hence retains a standard 18:9 aspect ratio.
As mentioned above, the device makes use of a Quad-core MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 CPU; an AI optimized CPU, designed to give out the best of Android 9.0 Pie. The CPU has 4-cores clocked at 2.0 GHz each, coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
On the camera department, the Oukitel WP5 ships with a triple rear camera setup, comprising of a 13-megapixel main camera and additional 2 MP + 2 MP auxiliary sensors, along with PDAF and a quad-LED flash. On the front, their is a single 5-megapixel selfie camera with a single LED flash, and support for facial recognition.
