The Poco M2 is the smaller variant of the M2 Pro launched earlier, but it is also the rebranded Redmi 9 for the Indian Market. It comes with same Mediatek Helio G80 CPU, but offers a larger 6GB of RAM. The display is a 6.53-inch with FHD+ resolution, using IPS panel and a dew-drop notch above the screen.
As for the CPU, the said Helio G80 is a octa-core 12nm Cortex-A75 process clocked at 2.0GHz, along with Mali-G52 GPU. It is available in bot 64 and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB via SD card.
On the camera department, the Poco M2 comes with four camera modules at the back. The main sensor is a 13-megapixel unit featuring PDAF and F/1.8 aperture, pegged with 8-megapixel wide lens, 5-megapixel macro snapper and a fourth 2-megapixel depth lens.
The M2 also come with a rear placed fingerprint scanner, has space for dual Nano-SIM with 4G LTE network and run on Google Android 10 with MIUI v12 out of the box. It is available in Slate Blue, Brick Red and Pitch Black colors, while a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging seats on the inside.
