The Pop-series have long taken the crown of most basic and affordable Tecno phones, and the most latest device in the series is the Tecno Pop 4, which is the direct successor of Pop 3 of last year. This one mounts a large 6.0-inch display with 480 x 960 pixels, and spot a notch-less design with a notable bezels above and below the display.
Powering the device is a Quad core, 1.3 GHz CPU, paired with a 2GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via SD card.
The device reminds me of the Infinix Smart 2 HD, which had almost similar specs and features, but thankfully, the Pop 4 runs on the latest Google Android 10 out of the box.
The camera department includes a 5 MP main camera at the back, and a slightly better 8-megapixel selfie lens at the front, with a single LED flash on both sides.
Interestingly the device host a large 5000 mAh battery, support dual 3G SIMs, has Bluetooth 4.x and come with a rear placed fingerprint scanner as well as FaceID. The detailed specifications and silent features of the Tecno Pop 4 are itemized in the table below.
