VSmart Star 3 is the direct successor of the standard VSmart Star launched back in 2019. The new comer comes with bigger screen, better battery and even makes use of USB Type-C. From the display, you are getting a 6.09-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1560 pixels resolution, using 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display still has a U-shaped notch overhead, housing the front facing camera.
Under the hood, there is a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz each, coupled with Adreno 308 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The VSmart Star is obviously the first smartphone to run the latest Snapdragon 215 CPU.
On the camera department, the device shipped with a dual 8 MP + 5 MP main cameras featuring PDAF, a single-LED flash and an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, their is a wide angle 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
Interestingly, this unit comes with a rear placed fingerprint scanner as well as FaceID, with support for dual 4G SIMs. The battery juice is now upgraded to 3000mAh with 10W fast charging support and Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Other key specifications and silent features of the VSmart Star 3 are detailed in the specification table below.
