This is Poco C55, another affordable smartphone from Xiaomi, having a similar design and specs to the recently announced Redmi 12C. It is also one of the cheapest devices under POCO lineups and houses a 6.71-inch HD+ screen with 720 x 1650 pixels on the front, Panda Glass protection, and an overhead notch housing the frontal selfie camera.
On the inside, the Poco C55 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with Mali-G52 GPU. Tecno Pova 2, Realme 7i and the Hot 12 from Infinix are all powered by the same CPU. Storage option on the C55 includes 4+64GB, 4+128GB and 6+128GB.
Coming to the camera department, two lenses are used on the rear; these include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a QVGA Ai depth sensor. The phone has a single LED flash on the rear, while a 5-megapixel selfie shooter is held within the notch on the front.
The phone is also IP52 rated for splash resistance, and it has a rear fingerprint scanner within the camera module. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with a 10W USB Type-C charger. It is based on Google Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box. The table below contains the full specifications of Poco C55 smartphone.
