The Xiaomi Redmi 9i has similar specs with the Redmi 9A, but benefits from larger storage and RAM than the 9A. But it retains same 6.53-inches screen with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. On the inside, you are getting Helio G25 SoC from Mediatek, an octa-cores CPU @2.0GHz, pegged with PowerVR GE8320 GPU along with 4GB RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated card slot.
On the camera department, the device comes with a single 13-megapixel main snapper with an LED flash, and another single 5-megapixel selfie snapper at the front.
Just like it predecessor, the device does not come with a fingerprint scanner, but users can rely on it built-in face identification features and other default Android locks.
Compensating that absence, there is a slot for dual nano SIMs with 4G LTE network on both SIM, and yes, there is Android 10 with MIUI 12 out of the box. As for the battery, the Xiaomi Redmi 9i has a large 5000mAh battery that charges via micro USB 2.0.
