So aside the standard K40 and the K40 Pro, there is also the Redmi K40 Pro Plus, which is literally the higher version of the Pro model. There are two key difference between the Pro model and the Pro+ model; first the K40 Pro Plus is available only in 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, and secondly, the main camera is pushed to 108-megapixel instead of the 64-megapixel lens on the Pro model.
Other specs remains same; there model sports same 6.67-inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh and up to 1,300 nit peak brightness. There is an octa-core Snapdragon 888 CPU on the inside, clocked at 2.84GHz, along with Adreno 660 GPU.
The device see through a 108-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture and a 1/1.51″ sensor size. Other camera specs remains same, including the 20-megapixel selfie lens on the front.
The model is available in Black, White and Aurora colors. Like the other variants, the K40 Pro Plus also uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, has dual Nano-SIMs with 4G/5G SA/NSA network, host a 4520mAh battery with 33W fast charging on the insides, while Android 11 with MIUI 12 runs out of the box.
